WHO IS THE DUTCH PLANT FARM?
From the sandy soil of the Netherlands sprang an idea for a Dutch-style garden center that took root in Frederick, MD, in 1982. Forty years and two generations later, The Dutch Plant Farm is still going strong in its original location.
As a family business, we take great pride in being a long-standing part of the Frederick community, providing our customers with a complete line of products and services.

We love to decorate for the holidays!
In Autumn, we carry every color pumpkin from blue to yellow to white, from solid to striped, and even some that are warty! Sizes range from tiny 4” pumpkins to jumbos weighing over a hundred pounds. With such a massive selection, there’s a size, shape, and color for everyone.
It wouldn’t be Fall without our big beautiful mums, cornstalks, gourds, haybales, fall décor, and loads of ghostly, ghoulish decorations from scary to funny in our store.
Christmas brings loads of fresh handmade greenery outside, including wreaths, roping by the yard or roll, centerpieces, mistletoe, live Christmas trees, and, of course, fresh-cut trees from tabletop size to huge 10-foot beauties. In our extensive Christmas Shop, you will find artificial trees in an assortment of colors and sizes, traditional and unusual ornaments, cozy décor & clothing, and gifts & stocking stuffers galore.

Curbside pickup can be arranged, and dogs are always welcome!
